Last week, our NII Shonan seminar on “Advancing Visual Computing in Materials Science” took place. I co-organized this meeting together with my colleagues Christoph Heinzl, Mike Kirby, Guillermo Requena, Kristi Potter, and Yuriko Takeshima! At EG VCBM 2023, we had two papers (Sherbiny et al. on VA for Cohort Radiogenomics, and Schindler et al. on Smoke Surfaces for Biological Dynamical Systems) and one poster (Muth et al. on Growing GANs for Retinal Vessel Segmentation) The work of Marwin Schindler (together with Aleksandr Amirkhanov) received the Best Short Paper Award (which appears also the newsletter of TU Wien)!
